Sunday Schools
Nurseries are provided for infants through 3-year-olds, during both services and the Sunday School hour.
Sunday schools are available for children, youth, and adults of all ages.
Sunday school classes are scheduled from 10:10 – 11:00am on Sundays;
but first, at 11:00, drop by the "Welcome" table in the Small Fellowship Hall
for coffee &c.
Nursery and Toddler Rooms
Nursery facilities are available during both services and the Sunday School
hour, and are also staffed during other important church events. The nursery rooms
are located at the west end of the education wing. The baby room, for newborns
to about 2 years old, has a play room and a separate quiet/sleep area. The toddler
room has a limited Bible story time and lots of fun learning center activities.
All nursery personnel have extensive training and experience in childcare.
Parents are always welcome to keep their children with them during the worship
service.

Sunday Schools Classes for Children and Youth
Children Pre-K through 12th Grade meet for Sunday School in assigned rooms
from 10:10-11:00 a.m.. Active learning includes games and hands-on learning
experiences the children will remember in recently remodeled classrooms.

Adult Sunday Schools
For most of the year, all adult Sunday School classes
meet at 10:10 a.m.. In addition to Bible study and other
religious-centered activities, FCC Sunday Schools undertake
service activities for the church and community, engage in
social activities, and provide support for one another.
The nine adult Sunday School classes are as follows:
- Disciples: This class
(see photos) includes
a mix of ages, from parents of infants, to grandparents. We use a variety of
curricula and other resources to address faith issues:
2/28/2010 we are starting a
World Religions study.

- Parenting Class: A class for young adults through middle age
- college students welcome!
The class is currently using the videos, workbooks, and discussion developed by
Drs. Les & Leslie Parrott.

- Balcony Bunch: an assembly of people from college-age to "mature" adults,
both couples and singles, representing a wide range of opinions and convictions based on the
Christian foundation of love and respect for one another. Lively discussions on a
variety of topics related to our faith. (Room 120 in Education Wing)

- Seekers & Servants: This is class of mostly baby-boomers (but all are welcome)
is using The Wired Word
as a springboard to discuss contemporary issues from a Christian perspective.

- Pairs & Spares: a fellowship-oriented group, primarily empty-nesters but welcoming of any age adult,
whose purposes are to grow spiritually, discover God's plan for their lives, and support each other
in the giving of time, talent, and treasure in service to God. They study God's Word through the Bible
and other resources selected by the class.

- Paracletes: This class incorporates a wide range
of ages and meets for Bible study. (Room 119A in Education Wing)

- Three Ms: A class of adults near or in retirement who meet to study the standard
quarterly curriculum, and give support to the church youth programs and the
Fellowship of John;

- Wayfarers - recently gathered group of young and not-so-young adults who are
setting a framework for their continuing education in Christian faith and practice
by studying the writing of theologian and scholar Marcus Borg, by sharing in their lives,
and by supporting each other in their faith journeys.
